Ollie is a data scientist joining the OpenOcean team in London. Prior to joining OpenOcean, Ollie worked in R&D for an innovative HealthTech startup leveraging satellites, remote sensing, and AI to develop mobile health solutions in partnership with BASF and the NHS. Before that, he worked with the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in R&D of cryogenic cooling technologies for ESA and UKSA space-based astronomy missions. Ollie graduated from the University of Bristol with an M.Sc. in Physics, where he received a commendation for his Masters Thesis focused on growing and testing 2D thin film superconductors. During his studies, he was a member of the university sailing team competing in national team and yacht racing competitions, previously having represented Great Britain at the youth level.
